The material
Not standard concrete.
Athermic isn't poured like ordinary concrete.
We build it from our own raw-material mix around imported white cement, then cast and finish each piece by hand — a process that passes through several skilled hands before a piece ever reaches a pool. The result is a dense, refined surface engineered for one place: the area around water.

Cool under bare feet
Because the surface absorbs little solar heat, the deck holds a comfortable temperature even at midday — no dash across hot stone between the water and the lounge chair.
Sure footing, wet or dry
Every piece is finished with a slip-resistant texture, so the step from pool to deck stays safe for kids and guests all day.
Finished like a piece
Refined edges, consistent tone, and a clean white finish that makes the whole pool area read bright and elegant — not like a poured slab.
Illustrative. Light, low-absorption surfaces reflect more sunlight and store less heat than dark stone or standard pavers, so an Athermic deck stays markedly more comfortable for bare feet in direct sun.

We make both the bullnose coping that finishes the pool's edge and the matching deck pavers for everything around it — set with REJUNTAFlex, our own high-performance grout developed with imported materials. The whole surround shares one look and one cool-touch, non-slip surface, with no mismatched materials.
The difference
Curves cast in one piece.
Most suppliers can only make straight coping. To follow a curved or freeform pool, they cut and assemble small fragments — leaving a ring of seams at the water's edge.
We cast large, continuous curved pieces that trace the pool in smooth, unbroken lines. It is the hardest thing to make in this craft, and the clearest difference you will see — and feel — where the deck meets the water.
